LIGHT DUSTING

4-06-19 by dave

It looked like a misty day on the hill, with just a light dusting delivered overnight. The Groomers were offering the consistent smooth that you can take to the bank in variable visibility. Breaks in the clouds lit up portions of the hill from time to time. I took the day off to rest after last weeks shredathon. Here is a shot I took last week of the smooth lines under The Bookend Chutes.

This shot makes this pitch look tame, but it is anything but. It is steep, hard to get to, and a long piece of vertical.

Tomorrow, look for a much better day as a High Pressure moves over the Front for the next couple of days before the next cycle begins next week. You can expect awesome grooming efforts on all sides of the hill. Look for those rare prepared lines that almost never get worked over. Temps will be much warmer, and the lower elevations will get a bit manky later in the day. I’ll see you there for the morning shredfest!! Stay Frosty!!
