As a cloud deck moved off with the start of the day’s festivities, and the hill was perfect for dialing up the juice to take advantage of all the smooth lines that have been slowly coming on line. The Groomers were fast and fun on all sides of the hill, but the naturally occurring smooth sections have been just stellar. Light Traffic and wide open lines made for a vertical fest with back to back Trams to keep it lit.
More clouds moved in around 12:30PM and the lights went flat, but breaks in the deck was letting some nice bright spots illuminate the dance floor.
Tomorrow, look for more ground pounding fun as the hill is holding up nicely despite the dry weather. I’ll be looking for more wind deposited smoothness that may have been worked up overnight. The Groomers will be fast and fun with plenty of tooth to keep it real. See you there for barn burning morning runs. Straight Ahead!!!
