It was a clear cold morning with some thin high clouds, keeping the early runs in flat light before the Sun got high enough to light up the dance floor. Delightful smoothing efforts prepared some fantastic lines that made repeat laps a draw even though Mineral Basin was calling with bright visibility and soft lines. The access to out of area touring opened and the Powder Crew were all over it with a strong approach to the high aspects.
Lines on the chairs were fast and did not hold you up, letting you move around the hill with speed and ease.
Tomorrow, look for more great conditions as the pack consolidates as a bit of rumble and static begins to build. The Groomers will be offering dry chalky goodness that will let you dial in some sweet feeling arcs. There should be a fair bit of traffic so get out ahead of the push early and it will let you stay ahead and movin’. Dial it up, Dial it in!!
