LIKE BUTTER

The  high pressure system has set in , with the inversion setting up as well.   There is Black Ice in the canyon morning and evening, so be careful in the lower canyon.  The peak was 35 degrees this morning for first Tram, feeling balmy and unusual for this time of the season, but I’ll take it.  The Groomers were soft and velvety, as the increased temperature softened the runs, finally making Regulator become soft and supple, like butter after Noon!!!.  I just kept getting laps on both sides to keep the momentum going, with such quick Tram access.   The off trail continues to improve as it gets ski out, with lines to be had well outside of the high traffic areas.  Tomorrow, look for another ripping morning of ground pounding vertical, as the traffic will be light and the buff job will be worth getting up for.   See you dark and early for first Tram.   IBBY!!
